The company WOMA Wood Machinery was founded in April 2008 by owner Daniel Koehler. The couple Daniel and Maria Koehler ventured a occupational restart with the international sales of used woodworking machinery in spite of difficult times in the worldwide financial crisis.

By specializing in machinery for the production of wooden handles, sticks and milled parts first contacts were made in the brush industry. Then this field gets the main business of company WOMA quickly.

Meanwhile 10 employees tend to the needs of our customers. Very seven qualified technicians employed WOMA in the modern workshop area. Here the second hand machines get cleaned, inspected, their repairs also complete overhauls performed. Some examples of refurbish you can see here.

WOMA supplies machines for the production of brush and broom bodies, wooden sticks and handles. These are mainly woodturning machines and copy shapers also fully automatic machines made by Hemco / Walter Hempel, Boucherie, Brusa di Garboli, Sibo, Cosma, Bizotto, Locatelli, Intorex, Fell, Bick usw.

Additionally the product range includes machines for drilling, sawing, planing, chamfering and threading.

Every year about 100 machines leave our warehouse or sold directly from site to site. Sales Manager Maria Koehler handles the worldwide sales. With hear10-year professional experience importing and exporting are not a problem even in distant countries. We provide all the necessary papers for customs clearance and take care of a smooth flow of the purchase and sale of machines worldwide.

In October 2009 WOMA moved to a 450 sqm warehouse in Stadtlengsfeld. Our machine stock, our competencies and thus our team are growing continuously. After nearly ten years of company development, the capacities of the first location in Stadtlengsfeld were exhausted. Above all, the foundation of the second company, WOMAtec Maschinenbau GmbH, which exclusively deals with the development, planning and production of new machines for the brush and wood industry, necessitated an expansion of the workshop and office space. Since 1st March 2017 the companies WOMA Wood Machinery and WOMAtec Maschinenbau GmbH are now located under the roof of a 1.500 sqm industrial hall in a modern industrial estate in the district town Bad Salzungen.

The generous workshop area offers optimal conditions for works such as turning, milling, polishing, drilling, welding as well as for the assembly of new machines or repairs on the used ones. In a large painting room machine frames, covers as well as small parts can be pretreated and painted. The own sandblasting system is the ideal supplement. In the approx. 1.000 square meter machine warehouse all used machines are now available and can be easily reached and viewed by customers.

In addition to the social rooms, the office space offers bright and friendly spaces for the field of sectrection, sales, construction and workshop management.
